Compositions

The culmination of Composeher was the world premiere performance of the seven new choral commissions in May 2023. This new body of works – composed by the seven female composers commissioned by the GSA Choir as part of the project – explores a wide range of subjects relevant to our time including a beautiful meditation on the death of a loved one; the birth of a child; a prayer for refugees and a paean to the natural world.
