Compositions

The culmination of Composeher was the world premiere performance of the seven new choral commissions in May 2023, and the release of the Composeher album in 2024. This new body of works – composed by the seven female composers commissioned by the GSA Choir as part of the project – explores a wide range of subjects relevant to our time including a beautiful meditation on the death of a loved one; the birth of a child; a prayer for refugees and a paean to the natural world.
